I purposed myself and determined to understand how I could get involved in anything meaningful in life.
In 2021, I decided to author Competitive Information Systems and I can say I hit the roof.
I got MDM Financing system accredited by Uganda Revenue Authority, and, led a team to register a company called, Chanet Technologies Limited.
Actually, at the time of our accreditation by URA, we were the only company outside Kampala, the rest of the other 19 companies were from Big Cities like Kampala, Nairobi, Mumbia etc
I didn’t get satisfaction though.
In 2022, I decided to join an association of chess players in Mbale, and I got into a company of friends which I never got while writing systems. I also played my favorite board game, chess. I was also nominated as the General Secretary in this association.
In 2023, I purposed to actively involve myself in Youth ministry beyond my club, Yomako Pathfinder Club.
It has been a bumpy journey, but manageable.
This year 2024, I have purposed to use my Information Technology I.T. skills to serve God. So far so good, it is an exciting process, it doesn’t take only the I.T. skills.
It takes a collaboration of several other undermined skills like Public Relations, Patience among others to make the I.T. work.
I have learnt one big lesson though; it’s not just about posting a scripture or chapter in the morning devotion every day.
It’s about transformation of self, when you are made clean like the leaper in Mathew 8:2, you will find satisfaction. Everything else will be added unto you.
Just say the prayer, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean”.
